I've just done a gesture drawing of this pose, and i love the way you've contrasted smooth areas like the skin is some places with areas of blocked in color on the armor, it definitely makes it look like a more rigid material. Do you paint at 100% opacity all the time?

Yes, the opacity is set on 100%, though I regulate it with the opacity jitter set on pen pressure.

Beautiful colours, but careful with the pose. Long and straight lines usually suggest stability instead of movement.

You did put them diagonally, but then again they form a huge "X" in the piece totally fixing the scene in a stand-still.

Also hair suggests a standing pose instead of running one but still...this is a practice piece and you were probably aware of all the stuff mentioned above D:
