on another note: I often wonder what it would be like to actually play Zelda in a lead role.
She's got some pretty sweet powers/moves too. I wish there was a game where you could
play them both.
I have to say that her shield is too small, and it appears to be one of those strap-on shields. From one particular source, strap-on shields are useless for individual fighting. They can do well in formation, especially when you look at bigger shields like the Greek Hoplite's Hoplon, but if you're the time of adventurer that Link is, then you might want a shield with a center grip. You can punch with it, block low blows and if it were slightly bigger than the shield here, you could blind your opponent with it.
